Hi! I’m Megan and welcome to my little nook where I am sharing tips & tricks, recipes, and just plain realness in terms of life and food. I am a registered dietitian nutritionist – don’t let that scare you, I’m a normal person that still loves to eat! (Just ask my husband, he has to hide the chocolate chips from me…true story). In my past I’ve seriously struggled with my weight, and still do at times, read my Journey With My Weight for more about that.
I love cooking and baking, and especially love sharing my ideas and recipes with the world – hence why this little space Bravely Nourished was created! I’m also a daughter of Christ, first and foremost, a wife, a daughter and a fur-mommy (2 large pups and 3 kitties).
In the cooking atmosphere – we are vegetarian, so pretty much everything here will be vegetarian-based, but can definitely have meat added to it if that’s your thang. If a recipe can be simplified by cutting out unnecessary ingredients or healthified (that’s not a word, but oh well) by adding or swapping out better ingredients, I’m going to go for that as well! I am a big lover of pesto, avocado, berries, Mexican, pumpkin, peanut butter, sun dried tomatoes and CHOCOLATE….hence the chocolate chips, that I have no clue where they are hidden.
